About Regulatory Defence
Insider knowledge.
Solicitor-led defence.
Regulatory Defence is led by Jake Herman, a solicitor and former in-house lawyer at the General Medical Council. Jake spent years drafting fitness to practise decisions and advising on GMC policy before founding Regulatory Defence to represent professionals on the other side of the process.
That insider perspective shapes every case we take on — across the GMC, NMC, HCPC, SRA and every major UK regulator.
“The first 48 hours after receiving a letter from your regulator often shape the rest of the case. Most professionals wait too long before seeking legal advice.”
Jake Herman · Solicitor & Director, Regulatory Defence Limited
